Linate (LIN) is the reference airport for private jets in Milan — 15 minutes from the Duomo and the Brera district, with a dedicated general aviation terminal and low commercial traffic. Malpensa (MXP) is necessary for long-range jets (longer runways) and intercontinental flights. For Paris–Milan in a Phenom or Citation, Linate is the natural choice.
Between €6,500 and €13,000 one way, a 1h20 flight via Linate. During Fashion Week (January–February and September–October) and Design Week (April), LIN slots fill up and prices rise by 30 to 50%. Book 4 to 6 weeks in advance during these events.
Lake Como (Bellagio, Varenna, Tremezzo) is 40 minutes from Linate by car or water taxi from Como. The lake's villas (Villa d'Este, Villa Balbianello) are owned by UHNWIs from around the world.
