London is the world capital of finance, law and British culture — a metropolis of 9 million people that concentrates the world’s largest hedge funds (Mayfair, Knightsbridge), the top commercial law firms (Magic Circle), the leading auction houses (Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Bonhams) and two of the most active financial markets on the planet (London Stock Exchange, Lloyd’s of London). By private jet, London is served from several airports: Farnborough (FAB) and Biggin Hill (BQH) for pure private jets, Luton (LTN), Stansted (STN) and London City (LCY) for larger aircraft. The Paris–London route is one of the densest in Europe for business aviation.
flight_takeoffBook a flightThe private jet clientele between Paris and London is the most intense in Europe: investment bankers linking the City of London with La Défense, Magic Circle solicitors and their Parisian counterparts negotiating mergers and acquisitions, collectors travelling between Christie’s South Kensington and Sotheby’s Paris sales, non-domiciled residents (formerly “non-dom”) between their London homes and properties in the South of France. The Paris–Farnborough route is the most frequently flown jet route in Europe.
London offers an unrivalled UHNWI experience: prestige sales at Christie’s and Sotheby’s, Savile Row tailors, Michelin-starred restaurants in Mayfair and Belgravia (The Ledbury, Core by Clare Smyth, Sketch), historic hotels (The Connaught, Claridge’s, The Savoy), and the private clubs of St James’s (White’s, Boodle’s, The Garrick) that form the social fabric of the British elite.

All your questions about private jets to London
Farnborough (FAB, Surrey) is the top choice for private jets — 45 minutes from central London by car, no commercial traffic, reference VIP terminal. Biggin Hill (BQH, Kent) is 35 minutes away and less congested. London City (LCY) is in east London but limited to light jets. Stansted (STN) and Luton (LTN) accept midsize aircraft and are alternatives if FAB is full.
Between €5,500 and €11,000 one way, a 55-minute flight from Le Bourget to Farnborough. This is the most frequently flown jet route in Europe — hundreds of flights per week. Empty legs Paris–London and back can regularly be found at much lower prices — keep an eye on specialist platforms.
For active collectors, absolutely — the major sales at Christie's King Street and Sotheby's New Bond Street (Impressionism, contemporary art, jewellery, wines) can involve transactions of millions or tens of millions of euros. Arriving the day before for private previews and leaving after the sale is the standard schedule for major collectors. Some travel London–New York in two legs within the same sales week.
The Wimbledon fortnight (late June–early July) generates high demand for Paris–London jets. Centre Court and No.1 Court tickets are by invitation for Corporate Debenture holders — annual passes that have been passed down through families for generations. Farnborough (FAB) is 20 minutes from the All England Club by car.
Royal Ascot (5 days in June, Berkshire racecourse) is the defining social event of the British season — top hats and elaborate hats all round. Private boxes (Corporate Hospitality, Royal Enclosure) are leased annually for considerable sums. Farnborough is 20 minutes from the racecourse — the combination of jet FAB + Ascot box + gourmet lunch is the chic experience of the British calendar.
A Savile Row bespoke suit (Henry Poole, Huntsman, Anderson & Sheppard, Gieves & Hawkes) typically requires 2–3 visits — measurements, fitting and collection. Some tailors offer house visits in Paris or send their cutter by jet from London for the first fitting. The making period is 6–12 weeks — Savile Row clients plan ahead across several seasons.
