These Riviera–Ibiza routes are very popular in July–August with superyacht owners sailing between the Côte d'Azur and the Balearics. IBZ has a general aviation terminal with private handling (Menzies Aviation). In July–August, the airport is saturated with jets — time slots are strict and parking spaces very limited. Prefer arrivals between 08:00 and 12:00 to avoid evening congestion. Night flights (after 22:00) are subject to restrictions set by Aena.
Formentera has no airport — access is by ferry from Ibiza port (30 min by catamaran) or by private speedboat (20 min). Ses Illetes and Levant beaches (Formentera) are regularly cited among the finest in the Balearics — crystal-clear water, white sand, Posidonia seabed. Book the speedboat in advance in July–August.
