A private jet from Barcelona to Courchevel costs between <strong>€7,800</strong> and <strong>€9,500</strong> for a one-way flight. The Phenom 300E (the reference aircraft for CVF altiport, 4 pax) is available from €8,500. The Citation CJ4 (favourable weather conditions) is offered at around €9,500. These prices include the CVF pilot qualification and Alpine handling fees. During peak season (Christmas, February half-term), prices increase by 20 to 30%. For groups of more than 4 passengers, the Barcelona–Chambéry option in an XLS+ + shuttle may be more economical.

The direct flight from Barcelona to Courchevel takes between <strong>1h25 and 1h45</strong> depending on the aircraft and weather conditions. The Phenom 300E covers the journey in approximately 1h40, the Citation CJ4 in 1h25. The aerial distance is 720 km. Door-to-door from the centre of Barcelona to the Courchevel slopes: approximately 3 hours, compared with 7 to 8 hours by car (via the A9, Montpellier, the Rhône valley and the Alpine passes in winter conditions).

Courchevel altiport (CVF) is one of the most technically demanding in the world: <strong>2,008 m altitude</strong>, a <strong>537 m</strong> runway with an <strong>18.5%</strong> gradient — only CVF-qualified pilots may operate there. Payload is reduced by altitude (thinner air = less lift). Aircraft that regularly land there include the Phenom 300E and the Citation Mustang. The altiport is closed from May to November. In poor weather (fog, strong wind), flights are diverted to Chambéry or Grenoble.

For a group of 8 or more, CVF altiport is not suitable (max capacity: 4 pax per flight). Two options are available: <strong>Option 1</strong> — two Phenom 300E flights (4+4 pax), total cost approximately €17,000; <strong>Option 2</strong> — a single Citation XLS+ flight (8–9 pax) to <strong>Chambéry (CMF)</strong>, followed by a 45-minute VIP shuttle or a 20-minute helicopter transfer to Courchevel, for a total cost of approximately €14,000–€16,000. The Chambéry option is often more economical and more comfortable for large groups.

Skis can be loaded onto the Phenom 300E subject to conditions: a protective ski bag is required (max 185 cm), and total baggage weight must be declared at the time of booking. At 2,008 m altitude, the aircraft must be lighter than at sea level, which reduces baggage capacity to approximately 60–70 kg per flight. If you are carrying 4 pairs of skis + boots + luggage, please inform your operator in detail. If the weight is excessive, skis can be delivered by a ski courier service (DHL, Ski Service) directly to your chalet. Many resorts also offer high-end equipment hire on site.

Courchevel altiport's season runs from <strong>early December to late April</strong>. The busiest periods are <strong>Christmas and New Year</strong> (book 3 to 4 weeks in advance) and <strong>Spanish and French school half-term in February</strong> (2 to 3 weeks in advance). Weekends are very busy in both directions (departures on Friday, returns on Sunday). Outside school holidays (early January, March), availability is much better and fares are 15 to 20% lower.
